You may have up to four photographs on a slide for book layout, and there are numerous frame types to pick from. When adding a new slide, you may select a layout that allows you to add photos with a single click. Then again, you can also manually add as many photos as desired.
Using a Photo Album to Import a Large Number of Pictures into PowerPoint

Use the "Select" button in the top right-hand corner to select four or more photographs from your photos.

Using Photo Albums One easy way to include images in your presentation is by using a photo album. These books contain a large number of photographs and are generally available for purchase at bookstores and online retailers such as Amazon. They're an excellent way to include images in a presentation because they don't distract from the content or style of your talk. Also, participants can flip through the pages to see different images of your topic.
To use a photo album, simply open the file with Excel and insert the disk. The image files on the disk will be added to the presentation as if they were attachments. There are several photo albums available for purchase or free download from Microsoft Office Online. Some popular titles include: "The Smithsonian Collection of American History", "American Photographs 1839-1914" and "Women in World History".

Include a photo gallery or a slideshow.
Open the slide into which you wish to put a photograph. Point to Picture on the Insert menu, then pick Picture From File. Browse to the image you want to insert, select it, and then click Insert in the dialog box that appears. The photo will appear on the slide.
