Travincal, a temple city within Kurast, is the centre of the now corrupt Zakarum religion. Its heart is the temple where Mephisto was imprisoned and, following his liberation, became the Durance of Hate. Here too is the palace of the High Prophet, who rules over Travincal and all the other cities.
Travincal has been described as a "steaming cesspool" by one traveller, and it's hard to disagree with this assessment. The town itself is little more than a collection of foul hovels that leak in every direction. There are some fine buildings, but they are all made of wood and have visible rot underneath. The only reason why anyone lives here is because there are no towns closer to reach, and perhaps also because the religion allows for polygamy, which is rare in most other cities.
The people of Travincal are known for their greed and cruelty. Some say they are under the control of their religious leaders, but I doubt it. More likely they just give in to these forces when they can't get what they want any other way. Either way, they treat each other like dirt and have no regard for others' feelings. No wonder so many travellers avoid them at all costs.
If you attempted to look it up and couldn't find it, it's probably because "traviesa" is the feminine version of the adjective, and it's listed in the male form in the dictionary. Travieso is an acceptable Spanish spelling of this word.
How do you say Travincal? In-call travel time, based on your current location, is available for 90 days past purchase. At the end of that time, or sooner if you cancel before then, you will be billed for an additional $5 per day plus any applicable tax.
Say Tra-vin-caal. It's a Florida company. That's all you need to know.
Trulli are frequently decorated with a painted emblem. Their origin is uncertain, but they typically have a religious or astrological significance. Planetary signs, the malocchi (evil eye), the cross, a heart, a star, and a few more are examples of symbols. The paintings are done in bright colors which last for decades under the sun and rain.
Some trulli have hundreds of these images painted on them. They offer a glimpse into the ancient world of Sardinia where people loved their animals and believed they had souls. These little boats were always made by men, who worked on them during the summer months. Women didn't play a direct role in their construction; instead they cared for children while the fathers was away at sea.
The painting process started with a dark blue color called uvea which was mixed from copper oxide and water. Then the artist added white to indicate the sky or light blue for open waters. Finally, he covered the whole image with a thin layer of red ochre.
There are several theories about why people painted on trulli. Some believe it was because they wanted to leave their mark on history even though their boats weren't very big. Others say it was a way for sailors to communicate with each other across large distances since phones didn't exist yet. Still others think it was just a fun activity to do when you had free time.

Wikipedia's definition of krasavitsa: The Sleeping Beauty (Russian: Spiashchaia krasavitsa, tr. Spïyasha krasavitsa) or Fairy Tale Princess (Russian: Povest' spivatsa) is a Russian fairy tale collected by Alexander Afanasyev in his 1659 book Novodniye narody (New Peoples). It is also known as The Enchanted Girl and The Golden Hairpin.
Krasavitsa means "beautiful girl" in Bulgarian. The story is similar to that of Snow White but with some differences. It has been translated into many languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Indonesian, Malay, Persian, and Hebrew.
The original version from Afanasiev's collection tells how a young man named Ivakshiy lives in a small village near Moscow. One day, while hunting, he meets a beautiful young woman named Lyubka who invites him to come home with her. He agrees, but when they get there she reveals that she is a naiad, a water spirit. She tells him that if he loves her truly, he must not tell anyone about her. If he does, she will disappear forever.
The term "troubadour" is derived from the Occitanian word "trobar," which means "to find" or "to invent." As a result, a troubadour was someone who produced new poetry and found new verse for his extravagant love ballads. The first recorded use of the term is in 1160.
How did the French language acquire its identity? In the wake of the Roman occupation, Latin became the official language of the Church and the language of education. During the 12th century, Norman French emerged as a common language, replacing Latin in courtly circles. This new dialect differed significantly from classical Latin and came to be known as "French." After the conquest of France by Germany in 1453, many Italians moved to work on French buildings, bringing their own language with them. This phenomenon, known as "Italianate," altered the way French sounded. Over time, these two languages mixed together to form modern French.
Is it true that there are more than 500 million words of English language? That's more than half of the entire vocabulary used in books ever written. English is a very flexible language, capable of expressing every idea that can be thought of. It is also one of the most popular languages in the world and is spoken by people from all over the globe.
