Why do many learners perform well in Grade 12 but are still not accepted into universities?

1 The university tuition are out of reach for the parents. 2 A child's interest stream would not be appropriate for a certain institution. 3 They will not be admitted because of their background, which is unsuitable for university students. 4 Many applicants are rejected as there is no set percentage of acceptance.

Why do some people not attend college?

Some of the reasons students opt not to attend college include: they fared poorly in high school and believe college would be too difficult; they don't know how to select a college; they believe they will not fit in; etc. The most common reason that we have heard students give for not going to college is that they are afraid they won't be able to find a job after graduation.

We asked students at several schools why they didn't go to college and the most common answer was that they were afraid they wouldn't be able to find a job afterward. In fact, nine out of ten students at one low-income community college said they did not go to college because they believed they could not find work after graduation.

Furthermore, many students feel college is not for them and instead try to find employment with a small company or organization. This can be difficult since most large companies require a degree to be considered for a position. Some choose to go to community college for two years and then transfer to a four-year university if they cannot find a job in their field of study there. Others choose to go straight from high school into the workforce.

The number of students attending college is increasing but so is the rate of those dropping out. If you are one of these students, we encourage you to consider other options before quitting.

Why is the education system bad?

Absence of enthusiasm 90% of the instruction is theoretical, with very little opportunity for actual learning and research on the part of the students. There is no room for creative learning and thought, and students are always confined to a certain syllabus and are not encouraged to live their lives outside of the classroom.

The President, his or her advisors, and different departments and agencies comprise the executive branch. This division is in charge of upholding the laws of the nation.

Can you go to uni with bad grades?

Many students are concerned that their grades will be insufficient to gain admission to a reputable bachelor's or master's degree program overseas. Universities may be willing to be lenient with program admission criteria if you can demonstrate that you have abilities or experience that compensate for lower grades. For example, a student who enters the university with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 will most likely be asked to submit evidence of successful completion of upper-level courses work done during his or her first year in order to qualify for graduation. A student with this background could potentially gain admission by presenting proof that he or she has achieved higher scores on selected examination questions.

The decision to admit or deny academic credit for courses taken at non-degree granting institutions like vocational schools and community colleges must be made by the institution itself. Generally, if an institution grants credit for courses taken at its own college or university, then it can be assumed that those same courses would be accepted at other institutions. However, it is not unusual for institutions to place certain restrictions on what they will accept. For example, some universities may exclude coursework that was primarily completed through online learning programs such as virtual classrooms. Others may refuse to accept courses that were only partially completed.

Students should understand that admissions decisions are based on more than just grades.

Why do many girls discontinue their education?

Poverty and prejudice are the two main reasons why many girls drop out of school. If a girl is poor, she may be unable to afford an education. If she comes from a religious community, she might be expected to get an education but not go beyond a certain level. If she is in rural Africa, there are often no schools nearby so she has to travel long distances every day to and from school. This can be difficult if she has other responsibilities, such as helping with farm work or looking after younger siblings.

Even if a girl is able to attend school, there are ways in which she can be excluded. She may be persecuted for speaking English instead of her local language. Students who learn another language, even if it is just one word, are usually expelled from school. Teachers may also exclude her by giving her harder tasks to do alone or in small groups rather than in classes with others.

Many parents don't think it's necessary for their daughters to go to school. They may believe that the family business will be passed on to another generation, so there's no need to educate women. Or they may simply want their daughter to get an education, but can't afford to send her anymore than what's required by law.

Students' poor academic performance can be attributed to a number of factors. Some common reasons include: the lack of high objectives and defined goals; the presence of cognitive misconceptions and loose emotions; the distortion of life values; personality and ability faults; and so on. The objective causes stem from a variety of sources, including teachers, parents, and the culture around them.

Poor academic performance can also be due to psychological problems such as anxiety or depression. If you believe that one of your friends is suffering from such disorders, please ask him/her to see his/her doctor immediately.

Last but not least, students may decide to avoid some classes for various reasons (such as those who feel that they're too hard or expensive). Such choices will inevitably affect their overall performance in school.
